About You
Technical Skills
  • 10+ years of experience with backend and frontend development
  • Experience and advanced knowledge in .NET Core and C#
  • Experience and advanced knowledge with relational databases (preferably MSSQL)
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role
  • Experience participating in technical architecture decisions for complex products
  • Experience working on at least one complex, consumer-facing product
  • Deep understanding of software design patterns such as MVVM, MVP, CQRS, etc.
  • Experience working in an agile environments
Soft Skills
  • Strong product-focused mindset and honest interest in solving users’ pain points
  • Experience collaborating with product/design to build polished consumer-facing products
  • Eager to learn new languages and keeping up with the industry trends
  • Leadership skills and positive attitude to motivate, encourage and guide team members
  • Decision-making skills and excellent organizational skills to help you effectively manage team and workload
  • Great communication skills (ability to give clear instructions and set expectations)
  • You should be self-motivated & self-driven
  • You have a very good English language skills (at least Level B2)
Bonus Points
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • You are a creative problem solver and risk taker; You like to take initiative to push projects forward and know when to involve others
  • Experience in FinTech/RegTech space
  • Experience with XBRL
  • Experience with multiple programming languages
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks and technologies (React, Angular, Vue etc.)
  • Experience with DevOPS
  • Experience with Docker, IIS
Main Responsibilities
  • Lead projects from proposal through postmortem, assessing vague problems, proposing high impact solutions, and executing them against a set of success criteria
  • Be an expert at the company in the application development ecosystem.
  • Develop new product features based on a clear roadmap, write pragmatic, performant, and testable code that works consistently
  • Lead development activities in an agile environment
  • Establish best practices in coding and ensure the creation of strong technical documentation
  • Step up to resolve product issues, large and small
  • Own major product features and take responsibility for their maintenance and improvement over time
  • Continuously review the development process and determine the improvement areas
  • Collaborate with peers during product brainstorms, technical design discussions, and code reviews
  • Coordinate, mentor and build cohesive engineering team
  • You will be responsible together with the Project/Product Manager to meet the assigned milestones and must plan/re-adjust staffing as needed
